Q&A About AWANA

Who May Attend AWANA and the Youth Program?

Any child in Kindergarten and above may attend. Those in K – 5th grade will attend AWANA. Those in 6th grade and above will attend the Youth Program.

Children not yet in Kindergarten may attend if a parent is in attendance in the adult church service.

Can my child get a ride?

Yes, your child may get a ride.

We will need a signed Rider Registration Form (this is in addition to the AWANA Registration Form) for each child.

To schedule a pick up for your child, please contact us by 6:00 pm on Tuesday (before Wednesday AWANA night) by sending a text message listing the first names of your child(ren) to be picked up. For Sunday School, please contact us by 6:00 pm on Saturday.

The church phone number is (409) 945-5915. If you do not contact us on time, pick up will be made on a space available basis only.

We will contact you to let you know when we will be there for pick up and the time we will be leaving your location if your child shows up or not.

What are these Family Events?

We have three events this year where we encourage parents (and other family members) to attend with your child(ren). These are the first night (registration forms must be completed), our Fall Festival, and the Grand Prix.

While parents are always welcome to attend to see what goes on, these special nights are for the whole family.
