AWANA and Youth Program

AWANA and Our Youth Program Meets Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:30 pm

AWANA Registration Form – each child attending AWANA must have a form completed by the parent. Please print the document and complete it. This form has room for more than one child.

Transportation Permission Form – each child who will be picked up by The Ministry Machine or other vehicle must have a form completed by the parent. This form must be completed for EACH child.

Who May Attend AWANA and the Youth Program?

Any child in Kindergarten and above may attend. Those in K – 5th grade will attend AWANA. Those in 6th grade and above will attend the Youth Program.

Children not yet in Kindergarten may attend if a parent is in attendance in the adult church service.

Can my child get a ride?

Yes, your child may get a ride. The minimum age for a child to ride in the van is age 5 (and in Kindergarten), even if there is an adult.

We will need a signed Rider Registration Form (this is in addition to the AWANA Registration Form) for each child. A new form is required at the start of each school year.

To schedule a pick up for your child, please contact us by 3:00 pm on Tuesday (before Wednesday AWANA night) by sending a text message (409-945-5915) listing the first names of your child(ren) to be picked up. For Sunday School, please contact us by 3:00 pm on Saturday.

The church phone number is (409) 945-5915. If you do not contact us on time, pick up will be made on a space available basis only.

Pick up on Wednesday nights will start at 5:30 pm and on Sunday at 9:00 am.  Your child should be ready to be picked by these times. If your child is not ready when the van arrives, your child will be left. You may drop him/her off and we will take him/her home if this occurs.

What are these Family Events?

We have three events this year where we encourage parents (and other family members) to attend with your child(ren). These are the first night (registration forms must be completed), our Fall Festival, and the Grand Prix.

While parents are always welcome to attend to see what goes on, these special nights are for the whole family.
